As an Operations-Sales Officer, you will need to arrange the best means of transport, according to the type of goods and to the customer's delivery requirements. 
You'll organize/operate shipments through an established network of contacts, using the services of shipping lines, airlines and road and rail freight operators. You will also approach new clients and follows sales leads.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or other related field
- Native Arabic with English fluency
- Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word Skills and Computers skills in general
- Social and active personality
- Driver License, preferably owns a car and knows how to drive
- Preferable to reside in Ramallah
- Preferably 1 Year Work Experience in shipping & clearance or Import and Export Companies experience

What You'll Be Doing (Essential Duties)
• Investigating and planning the most appropriate route for a shipment, taking account nature of the goods, cost, transit time and security and customer requirements.
• Negotiating rates with the shipping lines, carriers and offering the clients contracts, transportation and handling costs
• Contacting potential and current customers for sales leads
• Acting as a consultant in customs clearance matters
• Liaising with third parties to move goods (by road, rail, air or sea) in accordance with customer requirements
• Obtaining, checking and preparing documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements, packing specifications, and compliance with regulations
• Arranging payment of freight and other charges or collection of payment on behalf of the client
• Follow up and Tracking shipments status and updating the customers
• Dealing with special arrangements for transporting cargo
• Arranging courier and specialist hand-carry services
• Arranging insurance and assisting the client in the event of a claim;
• Working closely with customers, colleagues and third parties to ensure smooth operations to deadlines;
• Maintaining communication and control through all phases of the journey, including the production of management reports and statistical and unit cost analysis.
